TUCSON - What a difference a year makes. On this day last year snow blanketed much of Tucson, and Match Play was a white-out at times. This year: sunny and unusually warm.
As of 3 p.m. temperatures were in the low to mid 70s across the region, with light winds and mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will fall through the 60s shortly after sunset as we head to the 40s for nighttime lows.
Expect another mostly sunny Friday with highs in the upper 70s. More clouds filter into the region over the weekend but we remain dry. Highs will flirt with 80 degrees by Sunday and into Monday.
As of now, the extended forecast stays dry as our drought continues to worsen.
