ROSWELL, N.M. (AP) - An Amber Alert issued Monday for a 6-year-old Roswell boy says he was abducted at gunpoint, allegedly by his mother, early Monday.
The alert issued by New Mexico State Police and Roswell police is for Elijah Reczek, described as white, about 3-foot-6 and weighing 45 pounds with hazel eyes and short brown hair.
The alert says the boy was last seen at his home as he was been abducted by his mother, 30-year-old Miranda Ann Aguilar, and it says the mother may intend to take him to Montana, where she's from.
The boy, his mother and a man and a woman accompany her are believed in be driving in a dark-colored older van.
Aguilar's hometown there isn't immediately available, and authorities did not immediately respond to requests for more information.
