TUCSON - Temperatures dropped back to normal numbers to start the weekend.
Saturday topped out at 93° for Tucson bringing the first average day since May 10, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. It has definitely been a warm May so far with an average monthly temperature 4° above normal.
The May heat returns as soon as tomorrow with a forecast high of 100° to wrap the weekend. High pressure really flexes its muscle come Monday possibly bringing Tucson the first 105° of the year.
Daytime highs moderate by the end of next week as a low sets up shop in the Pacific Northwest. Temperatures will fall back into the mid 90's but the winds will kick up once again starting Wednesday and lasting through Friday.
