TUCSON - Today on "News 4 Cooks," our friend Angel Fabian, from Noble Hops Gastropub, returned with another delicious dish: Spicy Tuna Tartare.
Here's the recipe:
Noble Hops Gastropub Spicy Tuna Tartare
Executive Chef Angel Fabian
4 ounces Ahi Tuna (diced)
½ teaspoon Jalapenos (minced)
1 teaspoon Sriracha Hot Sauce
1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
1 teaspoon Honey
1 teaspoon Sesame Seed (black)
1 teaspoon Lime Juice
Serves One.
To prepare, simply:
Dice the raw tuna in ¼ inch pieces and place in a small mixing bowl.
De-stem the jalapeno, finely mince and add to the bowl.
Using a measuring spoon, add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and mix very well. Allow to rest 10-15 minutes before serving so that the flavors develop.
Tuna Tartare can be served with wasabi, pickled ginger, crackers, mixed greens, or your favorite accompaniment.
