TUCSON - AZ Dash, the Arizona Department of Education's newly designed school report card system was announced and introduced Monday by John Huppenthal, Superintendent of Public Instruction.
Huppenthal described how the user friendly reports contain test results, contact information for schools, A-F Letter Grades for school, administrator names, and so much more valuable information.
The newly innovated site allows users to search for specific schools or districts based upon name, address, zip code, town or city. An over view of these pages also include an interactive map to point out the specified location.
Huppenthal said, "As a longtime champion of school choice in Arizona, I realize how important it is for parents to have access to meaningful information about their local schools." "This new website will help them better understand how schools are performing, so that they can make informed decisions and find the right school for their children. I am excited that such a valuable resource is now available for parents to use and explore."
The reports contain much information and further plans are in place to create detailed information about staff and student populations.
