TUCSON - Police Chief Roberto Villasenor held a press conference this afternoon at 2 p.m. to discuss the latest on the disappearance of 6-year-old Isabel Mercedes Celis.
At this time, Villasenor says nothing has been ruled out. That means no one has been ruled out either and there is no suspect information at this time.
What police do know is the search for this missing girl continues to grow. All resources are being used including police, FBI, Border Patrol, canines from the Department of Corrections and canines are also being flown in from the FBI in Virginia to aid in the search.
Something of note, the Chief said that there are no signs of forced entry, but he would also not comment on possible point of entry or exit or the condition of the house.
The Chief did say they have performed a door by door search several times, the parents continue to meet with investigators, and authorities have also interviewed every sex offender within a 3-mile radius.
Villasenor said updates, regardless of any new information, will come every 2 hours. Keep checking www.kvoa.com for the latest updates.
