Breaking news in the case of a five-year-old girl, who was struck and killed last Saturday near Orange Grove and Skyline roads.
The News 4 Tucson Investigators have obtained court documents, showing that Pima County Sheriff's deputies have served at least two Search Warrants in the case.
According to those documents, the child was struck by a crown Victoria driven by a man who says he did not see the little girl until impact.
The girl's father told deputies, his children, ages five and seven, were playing outside on the street, when he went inside to check on dinner. He says didn't learn about the fact his daughter had been struck, until deputies arrived at the scene.
Detectives are now looking at evidence including cell phones, the car and its computer as well as other electronic devices.
The News 4 Tucson Investigators will continue to follow developments in this case, and bring you new details as we uncover them.
