TUCSON - Murder charges have been dropped against a Tucson man accused of killing his wife.
Todd Rounds was charged with 2nd degree murder on February 8th.
According to an interim complaint, Rounds called 911 stating that he had run his wife over with his truck. Police say that Rounds hit his wife with his truck on Krissy Avenue just south of Vendala Street.
Police say that Rounds was under the influence of alcohol.
On February 14th, the Public Defender's Office and Justice Court say the County Attorney's office submitted a request for dismissal that was signed by a Justice Court judge.
DUI charges against Rounds are still pending.
The Pima County Attorney's Office told News 4 Tucson they couldn't comment on why the charges were dropped.
