TUCSON - A motorcyclist died Saturday in a crash on the northwest side.

It happened just before 4:30pm in the 8400 block of West Picture Rocks Road.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department say 62-year-old James Moschini was going east bound when he lost control of his motorcycle.

He was struck by an suv on the westbound lane.

Moschini died at University of Arizona Medical Center.

Deputies say neither speed nor impairment are considered factors in this incident.
