TUCSON - Residents near the New Mexico border are waking up to a winter wonderland.
According to News 4 Meteorologist, a cold front passed through southern Arizona overnight. Behind the front, snow showers may redevelop this morning over portions of Graham, Greenlee and eastern Cochise Counties.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM for Graham and Greenlee Counties. Safford and Clifton may see an additional dusting of snow, with another 2-5" snow possible for Mt. Graham and the White Mountains.
Little snow accumulation is expected over eastern Cochise County.
Daytime highs today in southern Arizona will run roughly 15 degrees below average. A widespread freeze is on tap overnight, with upper 20's to low 30's in the Tucson metro.
