TUCSON - The last in a series of winter storms moves through Southern Arizona this morning taking the showers with it.
As of 7am a band of light to moderate rain showers was moving east across Southern Arizona with Tucson picking up another 0.10-0.25". Showers will start to diminish from west to east by late morning.
Partially sunny skies expected by this afternoon but temperatures will remain cool. A forecast high of 57 in Tucson will make for another day with temperatures 5-10 degrees below average. As skies continue to clear behind this wet weather system expect lows to drop back into mid 30s across the metro.
Warmer days coming Monday and Tuesday as a weak area of high pressure builds into the southwest. Forecast highs go from 63 on Monday back up to the low 70s by Tuesday.
Another winter weather system scheduled to move through the state Tuesday night in Wednesday. The chilly temperatures, valley rain and mountain snow are expected to return to Southern Arizona during this time period.
