More than $133,000 seized at Nogales Port of Entry

NOGALES - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officers working at the Dennis DeConcini Port of Entry Thursday discover $133,412 in hidden cash.
During an inspection of a 2001 Volkswagen Beetle, CBP officers discovered several packages of U.S. currency hidden in the rear quarter panel of the vehicle. Officers removed numerous packages totaling $133,412.
The driver, a 22-year-old man from Sonora, Mexico, was arrested.
