TUCSON - The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for north central Pima & south central Pinal Counties, eastern Pinal & western Graham and west central Cochise County until 4:30 PM. This includes Marana, Avra Valley, Oracle, Benson & St. David.

Also, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for west central Cochise County, mainly for the Pearce-Sunsites area, until 4:15 PM. A Flash Flood Warning is also in effect for southeastern Pinal County until 5:30 PM, as well as an Urban & Small Stream Flood Advisory for northwestern Cochise County until 5:15 PM.

According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, several severe thunderstorms over southern Arizona are capable of damaging winds of 60+ MPH and large hail. These storms are moving east-northeast at 15 MPH.
