TUCSON-The monsoon made a return today for areas mainly South and East of Tucson but this will change over the next few days. Tucson has been sitting in a pocket of dry air all afternoon and this has kept the storms out of the city says Chief Meteorlogist Rob Guarino.
We expect an uptick to the storms Tomorrow and Saturday with some areas getting some heavy rain. The flow is setting up nicely for .50" to 1.00" of rain the next few days, this will add to the nearly 4" of rain so far this Monsoon out at Tucson Airport.
We'll continue with temps near normal and rainfall above normal for the rest of the month.
