TUCSON - 8 new businesses are now part of Tucson Values Teachers, a discount card program for local teachers, which offers more than $10,000 in discounts to more than 1,000 teachers.

The teachers are K-12 in district, private, and charter schools in Pima, Santa Cruz, and Cochise counties.

Teachers can present the discount card along with a valid teacher identification card or recent pay stub at any of the participating businesses until the end of this year.
