TUCSON - Monsoon storms are making an appearance in Southern Arizona on Tuesday.
Tuesday has been the third day that dew points have been above 54, which will kick off the monsoon cycle, said News 4 Tucson Chief Meteorologist Rob Guarino. This is the second round of monsoon storms in Southern Arizona this summer.
Drexel Heights is seeing lightning. Storms are headed toward Green Valley.
Heavy downpour is expected with gusty wind and frequent lightning.
Storms are expected until 7 p.m.
