TUCSON - Another round of storms possible across Southern Arizona to round out the weekend.
As skies clear from east to west in the wake of last night's stormy weather we should see some more activity start fire up a little later this afternoon. With the help of an upper level disturbance moving in from Mexico we could see showers and storms last well into the night.
Storms will initiate in the higher elevations south and east of Tucson and move northwest into the valley floors by this evening. As they do some may become severe with damaging wind gusts and very heavy rainfall. Flooding may become an issue for areas that have already seen heavy rain over the last couple of days.
Still expecting more of a downturn in storm activity by midweek as high pressure sets up in a less favorable position. Daytime highs will remain in the 99-104 degree range over the next several days.
