TUCSON - An increase in monsoon storm activity expected over the next few days.
High pressure is starting to set up in a more favorable position to draw moisture back into Southern Arizona. Starting this afternoon isolated storms will be possible across the region with the main focus still for areas south of Tucson.
We'll watch for this increase in moisture to interact with an upper level disturbance for more widespread storms by the start of the upcoming workweek. Beginning Monday scattered storm chances will accompany near normal temperatures in the mid to upper 90s.
