TUCSON - Hit or miss storms return to Southern Arizona for Labor Day weekend.
After a few active days for the monsoon drier air begins to settle into the region starting this afternoon. According to Meteorologist John Patrick, thunderstorms will be isolated through the long holiday weekend with the best bet for storms in the higher elevations south and east of Tucson.
As a low grade monsoon pattern sets up temperatures will be on the rise. Forecast highs this weekend will range from the mid 90s on Saturday to 100 by Labor Day. Little day to day change is expected well into next week.
