TUCSON - Hot weather dominated the weather headline again Wednesday as Tucson reached 101 degrees.
But below the surface something else was happening that wasn't so obvious.
Moisture from Mexico was being transported back into the region and should help kick-start our rain chances again as we head into August.
According to Chief Meteorologist Matt Brode, despite our recent lull our daily chance of afternoon storms will get going again by Thursday.
As this happens high temperatures will cool back down into the upper 90s.
