TUCSON - Storm chances on the rise just in time for your weekend plans.
Today looks to feature isolated storms across southeastern Arizona, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Storms should favor areas south and east of Tucson during the late afternoon and nighttime hours.
An inverted trough over the Big Bend area of Texas moves in for the weekend, helping increase storm chances. All of southern Arizona sees a chance of scattered storms Saturday through early next week. The primary threat with these storms will be flash flooding, especially across Santa Cruz and Cochise Counties.
High temps the next several days flirt with the triple digits, with overnight lows in the mid to upper 70's across Metro Tucson.
