TUCSON - Moisture starts to creep back into Southern Arizona this afternoon.
After a dry start to the weekend a modest increase in moisture is expected for the southeast corner of the state today. Isolated storms will be possible mainly across Cochise County this afternoon and evening.
Hurricane Marie off the coast of Mexico may send a boost of moisture our way starting Monday. This will bring back the chance of isolated storms region wide to start the workweek.
Moisture will peak on Tuesday for what looks to be the most active storm day of the new week. The biggest threat with storms that do develop will be heavy flooding rains.
A drier and more stable air mass will once again start to move back in for the second half of the week turning our storm chances back down. Temperatures will remain in the mid to upper 90s for the week ahead.
