TUCSON - Another day of Monsoon storms on tap for southern Arizona.
According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, mostly clear skies this morning will help heat up highs into the 100's later this afternoon. That heat, combined with abundant moisture, are the ingredients needed to develop isolated valley/scattered mountain storms today.
Like yesterday, storms will move from the southeast to northwest, making it into the Tucson metro anytime after 1 PM. A few storms may produce gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall.
Storm activity should taper off after midnight.
