TUCSON - After an active weekend of monsoon storms, we begin the new week on a much quieter note with fewer storms in our forecast.
Enough moisture is available for a few storms this afternoon and evening, but the coverage will be much less than previous days.
The one feature different about today's storms is the light steering winds. Storms will crawl to the north/northeast - meaning that if you get caught underneath one, heavy, soaking rain will be the greatest threat.
Expect a low-grade monsoon pattern for much of the week ahead with higher storm chances returning by the weekend.
