DETROIT, MI - A 12-year-old boy is caught red-handed allegedly trying to rob a Bank of America.
Police lead the child out of the bank in handcuffs early Friday morning.
Officials say he rode his bike into the bank, smashing in the front door just before 3 in the morning.
The surveillance company says workers could see the boy on video walking around the bank.
He's accused of collecting rolled coins and cash from a teller's drawer.
Police say when the child was detained he was very calm, and more concerned about the snacks he had taken with him to the bank.
