TUCSON - Thieves have targeted St. Augustine Cathedral again.
The church says someone stole eight brass door handles and a water valve.
It happened sometime overnight.
They've already replaced the handles with cheaper ones.
Officials say the items were probably stolen so they can be sold as scrap metal.
Earlier this summer, someone stole air conditioning units from a different church building.
Father Emilio Chapa says ,"It does make me upset. It shouldn't happen to anybody. This church belongs to the people. So for somebody to take something it's a big blow to our community."
If you have any information on this investigation, you're asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-crime.
