TUCSON - Temperatures are expected to be about as good as they can get for your Memorial Day holiday and beyond.
An area of low pressure parked over the western states will keep daytime highs right around where they should be for the holiday weekend. According to Meteorologist John Patrick, temperatures will peak in the mid 90s with sunny skies and an afternoon breeze through Monday.
The low deepens over Arizona to start the next work week bringing some changes to the region. Daytime highs are expected to drop below normal topping out in the upper 80s and low 90s by the middle of next week. We'll also see an increase in winds and cloud cover as we start to wrap up the month of May.
