Meeting being held in Sierra Vista on Monument Fire

SIERRA VISTA - A meeting is being held in Sierra Vista on the Monument Fire. It started at 6pm and we are told hundreds are in attendance. News 4 has been getting updates from a resident inside the meeting. She says, Forest Supervisor Jim Upchurch, told the crowd with emotion that, "We we're unable to prevent this fire, sad ... but we have the best people working this." He told the crowd they need to be prepared for what comes tonight and hope for better days.

Sheriff Dever also spoke to the crowd saying they are trying to be responsive to animals as well.
