Meet-and-greet with UA presidential candidate to be streamed online

TUCSON - University students, faculty and staff, and the whole of Tucson, will get their first glimpse of UA presidential candidate Ann Weaver Hart this afternoon at a meet-and-greet that will be live-streamed on the web.

Ann Weaver Hart, currently president of Temple University, is visiting the University of Arizona campus this afternoon, to be attended by current interim president Dr. Gene Sander and Arizona Board of Regents Chair Bob McLendon. The event will be live-streamed here:

There will be a campus announcement at 4:30 p.m. in the Gallagher Theater at the UA Student Union, followed by a news conference at 5:50 p.m.

Dr. Hart has emerged as the only candidate for the UA president position so far.
