TUCSON - As we've reported, the Accenture Match Play Championship is gearing up at Dove Mountain in Marana. The annual tournament will bring about $75 million to the local economy.
The Ritz-Carlton is booked solid for two weeks. Match Play is televised in 200 countries - a prime promotion for this area, especially with this week's "Chamber of Commerce" weather.
Today on News 4 at 4, Rodney Campbell, the public information officer for Marana, stopped by to talk about Accenture Match Play's economic impact. Check out the video above to see his discussion with Kristi.
