TUCSON - Attorney General Tom Horne confirmed the arrest Friday evening of a Marana man accused of interrupting the Comcast Broadcast of the 2009 Super Bowl with x-rated pornography.
Frank Tanori Gonzalez was arrested on charges of fraud and computer tampering. The arrest comes two years after the February 1st incident.
The Super Bowl aired on KVOA in 2009 but only the Comcast customers' broadcast was interrupted with the pornography.
Horne said Comcast suffered significant economic losses after the 37 second interruption.
"Today's arrest of Gonzalez is the result of a joint investigation by the F.B.I and the Tucson Police Department," said Horne. "This alleged act of fraud and computer tampering resulted in viewers to include minors seeing unwarranted material."
