Man tackled at Sierra Vista movie theater after strange behavior

SIERRA VISTA - A disturbance at a Sierra Vista movie theater ends with a man in custody after being tackled by Border Patrol agents.

The Cochise County Sheriff's Office tells News 4 Michael William Borboa entered the Cinemark Theater intoxicated and carrying a large backback. His strange behavior startled several patrons of the theater while watching the new Dark Knight Rises movie.

When confronted, Borboa's behavior caused mass hysteria and 50 patrons to run from the theater. Several off duty Border Patrol agents tackled Borboa, and a Sheriff's Deputy removed Borboa from the theater and secured his backpack.

A search of the backpack revealed an empty alcohol container and a half empty blueberry moonshine bottle.

Borboa was arrested and transported to CCSO Jail Sierra Vista, where he was booked in on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Threatening and Intimidating.
