SOUTH TUCSON - News 4 has an update on the shooting overnight in South Tucson.
South Tucson Police say at 3:45 a.m. this morning they were called to a 'shots fired' call in the area of South 8th Avenue and West 30th Street. When officers arrived, they found a 31-year-old man lying in the alley, suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries and is expected to recover. Officers located several small caliber shell casings and spoke to several witnesses.
This is an ongoing investigation and Detectives are currently conducting interviews.
Anyone with information related to this incident are urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME. Cash rewards of up to $1,000 are available for information leading to an arrest and indictment of the person involved.
