Man killed in SWAT shooting identified by PCSO

TUCSON - Pima County Sheriff's have identified the man shot and killed by SWAT members serving a warrant today southwest of Tucson.
Jose Guerena, 26, fired an assault rifle at PCSO SWAT team members as they served a search warrant to him at a residence near Valencia and Wade, about a mile west of Casino Del Sol. The bullet struck one of the deputies' shields, and they returned fire, killing Guerena.
A woman and a child, roughly 4 years old, were at the home. Neither they nor the deputies were injured in the incident.
