Man killed during crash on Interstate 10

TUCSON - DPS has released the name of the man killed in a crash on Interstate 10 yesterday morning.

45-year-old Francisco De La Cruz from Elfrida, AZ

Three others were injured.

The two vehicle collision happened around 7:30a.m. on March 7 at about 7:25 a.m. near milepost 354.5.

A pickup truck towing another pickup, was traveling eastbound on I-10.

The pickup being towed had a tire fail on it, causing the driver of the towing vehicle to lose control and swerve to the left.

The towing vehicle struck another vehicle passing it. The Ford pickup ran off the road and rolled over. He was ejected and died at the scene.
