TUCSON - The driver of a pickup truck died in a vehicle rollover on Mt. Lemmon last night.
At approximately 10:00 p.m., deputies from the Rincon District responded to Mt. Lemmon for a serious vehicle collision. When they arrived, deputies discovered a single vehicle rollover, in which the driver and sole occupant was dead at the scene.
Pima County Sheriff's Traffic Unit investigators responded for further investigation.
The driver, 62-year-old Harold Clarence Dobbins was traveling up Mt. Lemmon in his 1998 Chevy pickup truck when he lost control and rolled down an embankment. Investigators say it appears alcohol was a factor in the collision.
