TUCSON - A man has died from his injuries in a car crash.
Tucson Police say 89-year-old Harry Lundberg was in a Toyota Prius traveling westbound on Speedway Boulevard Monday evening.
A driver in a Toyota 4-door was eastbound on Speedway Boulevard making a left turn to go northbound onto Houghton Road.
Witnesses say the Toyota 4-door was in the intersection when the east/west signal light turned red.
The Toyota 4-door turned left in front of Lundberg, and the two vehicles crashed into one another.
Lundberg died from his injuries Thursday morning at University of Arizona Medical Center.
Tucson police say 24 people have died from crashes involving cars this year. That's up from 23 in 2011.
