TUCSON - Tucson Police arrest a man they say is responsible for the abuse of a four-year-old boy.
Tucson Fire responded to an apartment complex in the 8200 Block of East Golf Links Tuesday to a report of a four-year-old boy experiencing seizure-like symptoms.
The child was taken to the hospital for treatment. Hospital staff called police after finding signs of physical abuse, which included head injuries and burns to the hands.
Police say the boy was left in the care of the mother's live-in boyfriend, 23-year-old Jacob Fimbres.
He was booked into the Pima County Jail on three counts of child abuse.
The child remains in critical condition.
