TUCSON - A 55-year-old man is in jail, charged with second degree murder.
Tucson Police arrested David Gallagher Wednesday after responding to a home on the southside.
A Constable went to the home on West Nava, near Mission and Valencia, to serve the residents with eviction paperwork.
He found the front door unlocked and saw a man lying dead inside the house.
The Constable called 9-1-1.
The victim was identified as 67-year old William Salamonsen.
He had obvious signs of trauma on his body.
The medical examiner conducted an autopsy and determined his injuries were consistent with a homicide.
Homicide detectives interviewed Gallagher, who was also in the house.
Gallagher was booked into the Pima County Jail.
