TUCSON - A man is under arrest, accused of pawning and selling multiple firearms in the Tucson area.
The Tucson Police Department's Major Theft Offenders Unit initiated an investigation against 45-year-old Dwayne Wynne on March 20th.
Detectives learned Wynne was a prohibited possessor, and had a previous felony conviction.
Tucson Police Sergeant Chris Widmer says investigators retrieved 40 firearms that Wynne had pawned or sold at various pawnshops and gun stores throughout Tucson.
Detectives served a search warrant at his house near Campbell and Fort Lowell on March 21st.
They found seven more firearms, as well as a small amount of meth and drug paraphernalia.
He's been charged with 60 counts of prohibited possessor and could face more charges.
