LUKE AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. (AP) - A fallen airman will be remembered by Luke Air Force Base with a building named in his honor.
The base plans to rename a fitness center after Lt. Col. Frank Bryant Jr. during a special ceremony.
Bryant and eight other airmen were killed one year ago when a shooter opened fire at a command center inside North Kabul International Airport.
Bryant, who was a 56th Fighter Wing airman, served on the base as an instructor pilot.
His widow and father are among those scheduled to speak during the ceremony Monday.
