Lost hikers rescued overnight

TUCSON- The father and his two sons who went missing yesterday in the Santa Catalina Mountains, hiked out this morning with the help of Search and Rescue volunteers.

According to Pima County Sheriffs spokesman Tom Peine, five Search and Rescue volunteers reached the stranded hikers around midnight and spent the night with the trio.

The group hiked out this morning to Stop #9 in Sabino Canyon, where they were picked up by deputies.

Peine did not report any injuries to the hikers.
