Local VA nurse charged for child porn images found at home

TUCSON - Hundreds of child porn images were found at the home of a local VA nurse, Tucson Police officials confirm - the 53-year-old man has been arrested and charged.

In March 2012, Tucson Police got information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an unknown person from Tucson was uploading child pornography images to a social media site, according to Tucson Police officials.

TPD's Internet Crimes Against Children unit began an investigation, which led them to the 8900 block of E. Palm Tree Dr., the address of 53-year-old Christopher Brown, a nurse at the local Veteran's Affairs hospital, located on South 6th St, officials told News 4 Tucson.

On August 8, a search warrant was issued, and investigators found hundreds of child porn images on computers and other media devices at his residence, officials confirmed. The uploaded images were not homemade, officials say, and were not of Tucson victims.

Brown has been charged with 10 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, with more charges pending.
