The shooting in Fort Hood, Texas is leaving many military residents in Tucson worried.

Alyssa Wall is the wife of Captain Timothy Wall a member of the local Army National Guard unit being trained at Fort Hood.

"I was shocked and then he told me what took place and then relief that his unit wasn't involved," says Wall.

To reassure residents, Major Paul Aguirre from the Arizona National Guard released a statement on the 86 soldiers who left Tucson on Halloween.

"We've been in phone contact with their leadership over in Fort Hood and have since determined that none of the Arizona National Guard soldiers were involved with the incident today in Fort Hood. They are all accounted for and all are unharmed," says Maj. Aguirre.

The soldiers are currently in Fort Hood for additional training before leaving for Afganistan.

Some residents said they are relieved to hear the soldiers are safe but still worry about the military's safety.
