TUCSON - Local children diagnosed with cancer have something to smile about this holiday season.
The Candlelighters of Southern Arizona held a holiday party on Saturday, where over 180 children were provided holiday gifts and handmade stockings.
The event was held at Voyager Resort, and Santa Claus handed out the gifts and stockings to the children.
The stockings are made by the Arizona Quilters Guild and they are donated to the organization.
The non-profit organization educates, supports, serves and advocates for families of children with cancer, bereaved families and survivors of childhood cancer.
