TUCSON - Unseasonably warm temperatures continue through the first week of December.
Waking up to temperatures in the mid to upper 40s across Tucson but once again daytime highs will make it ten degrees above average. Meteorologist John Patrick calls for a high of 78 under generally sunny skies to round out the weekend.
By midweek strong ridging starts to build into the region bringing daytime highs to near record levels. Temperatures peak on Wednesday with a forecast high of 82, one shy of the record for December 5.
A weak low pressure system brushes by late this week knocking temperatures back into the low 70s. Little moisture associated with this system as any rain stays well to our north but we could see a few clouds move in Thursday and Friday.
