Limited warmth with Winter lurking

TUCSON - Mother Nature spinning records for the second day in a row.

High pressure north of Flagstaff brings April-like temps to southern Arizona today, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. The forecast high of 81 degrees would best the record for this date, which is 80 in 1986. Expect mostly sunny skies with increasing cloud cover tonight.

A pair of Winter storms in the Pacific look to move in as early as Friday night, with scattered showers possible through Saturday. Sunday looks dry before a stronger storm system arrives early next week. Widespread showers, mountain snow, gusty wind and much cooler temps are in the cards starting Monday.
