TUCSON - Gusty winds finally take a break on Friday.
Another round of gusty winds between 25-35mph Thursday afternoon brought much cooler daytime highs. Tucson topped out 74° today which was the first time we've had below average temperatures since March 14.
Winds will stay between 5-15mph to round out the work week as a cold front makes it's exit but the cooler temperatures will stick around for Friday. Temperatures will warm up to 75° tomorrow afternoon after Tucson wakes up to the upper 40s.
The 80s return to the forecast as soon as Saturday with the afternoon breeze returning on Sunday. As a series of disturbances move to our north we'll keep the breezy conditions around for most of next week.
