TUCSON - Today on "Let's Make a Meal," Kristen Newbold from Paradise Bakery stopped by to make their delicious Strawberry Poppyseed and Chicken Salad. Here's the recipe:
Strawberry Poppyseed and Chicken Salad and bread chips made with our Asiago bagel
Large individual Strawberry Poppyseed salad:
2 oz. of our all natural antibiotic free chicken (grilled)
2 cups of romaine lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
1 Tablespoon of toasted whole pecans
¼ cup fresh strawberries
8-10 mandarin oranges
2 Tablespoons of fresh pineapple
Toss with poppyseed dressing. (can buy at any store: Marie's Dressing is very good)
Asiago bagels bread chips:
4 tablespoons of melted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced and salt to taste
Pre-heat over at 350 degrees. Lay slices on baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic and salt. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool chips and serve
