TUCSON - Sometimes, a sandwich is all you need for dinner.
Our friends at the Rincon Market stopped by the News 4 Tucson studios today to show us how to prepare a Tri-Tip Roast, the meat they use in their "Niya Butts Sandwich," named for the UA Women's Basketball coach.
Here's what to do:
Tri Tip 2.5 lb roast
Ingredients: 1 cup Garlic Salt,
½ cup Kosher Salt
4 cups Pepper
Cook on the Grill for roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. This will be medium rare.
